Byzantium EconoInn, heiress of the EconoInn fortune. She has graduated the Academy of Dark Arts as a functional necromancer of the Emperor's Dark Forces. Because necromancy is hott. And black goes with everything. Her applications to the post-graduate program keep getting rejected -- which is a bummer, because actually working for the E.D.F. is so messy.

Professor D'Font. Subterranean dark elf, Department Head of Arcana in the Shadow Knight branch of the Academy of Dark Arts. The only person with the patience and sadism necessary to teach thick-skulled, would-be shadow knights the finer points of casting spells. Also the only person in the entire School of Shadow Knights shorter than Ashlinne. Isn't real keen on sharing a faculty lounge with a human who's only lived a quarter of a century ...unless it's to watch him suffer.
